I know what a full length guard is, but what are the measurements for a mid-length handguard and a M4 hanguard?
My brother just bought a Bushmaster w/16" HBAR, and doesn't know which guard to purchase.................I told him probably mid-length? If I could get exact measurements would be the best way to help him. -Thanks, Matt |

For the Bushy 16" HBAR he needs M4 or "carbine" length handguards. Middy handguards will be too long. ETA: Are you asking about a railed forearm? If so, he needs a 7" unless he replaces the FSB with a low-profile gas block, then he can run something longer. |
