Hello I am new to the world of AR's, and had a question. I was wondering if anyone could answer a few of them for me.

I am in the market for a good ar15 carbine, and i have it narrowed to 3 brands. i was wondering what you guys thought of the three brands, and if you could give me some advice on which you would recommend.

I was looking at Bushmaster, Armalite, and Spike tactical.
They are all very close together in price range. My friend had a Bushy and i shot it and enjoyed it and it seemed to be very accurate right outta the box.

Your advice and opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks

For the most part they will all be a good choice.

That said, not a big fan of BM or Spikes. Both good, just never cared for them.
Armalites are a good gun.

ALL of them are a bit over priced IMHO.

If you want ot put one together or need help tracking one down locally LMK.

The Spike's Tactical 16" mid-length upper is hard to beat, it's got a Sabre Defence barrel.

If I were in the market for another 5.56, I would buy one of those uppers in a heartbeat.

Personally I would go with Spikes.  While they are all good I like working with a company that is more personable and more of a custom builder.  They have people with a constant and ongoing presence on here, people who answer questions regularly and stand behind their product.  Go to the Spikes forum in the Industry section and see the amount of involvement they have in this community.  Also notice the offers to help and fix things for clients when they aren't 100% satisfied.  I've even seen offers to fix things when the issue occurred due to the operator and not the equipment.

No sir, I was talking about this one:

Spike's Middy Upper

It's just an upper, you'd have to get your own lower. I don't think you're going to find a better mid-length upper for that price anywhere.
