I need a drop in AR trigger that I can adjust down to oh I don't know 8ozs. Is there such a thing? If not whats the best adjustable target triggers for the AR?

I will bump off two rounds if I set my single stage JPs below 28 ounces. As a result, I keep them set at about 40 ounces with a bit of overtravel.

My Jewell 2 stage will do the same thing as well.

The geometry of the AR trigger is going to make it really difficult to get that low without the doubling addressed above.  Only more sear engagement will help that, but that means more takeup.  JPs system with the light springs will give you a very safe trigger at about 3 lbs.  When you are on the edge like this I suggest you use oversized pins to get out all possible slop for repeatability of pull.

That does not mean the trigger pull is 1/2 pound. You stack the weight of the first and second stage together to get the pull weight.

Understood, however, ive never felt like holding the 1st stage down was any considerable effort. *shrug* just tryin' to help...
