I would like to put a lightweight forend on my 16inch varmint upper. Has anyone used the carbonfiber or JP tubes? How do you put a sling swivel stud on these & centered?

I have the Clark Custom tube. Clark comes with small kit to attach the stud. It comes with a stud, nut and a piece of curved aluminum. Pretty easy. I eyeballed mine in.  |
| I have a VTac on my JP-15. There are multiple long openings at the eighth points around the circumference. It comes standard with two sling swivel mounts and you can always add more. They can be moved to pretty much any location by just unscrewing them. You can also add rail segments anywhere. It is a very nice system. |
