Alright, so I've tricked out every other part of my RRA Entry Tac except the stock, and I'm considering this Magpul stock, but I have a few quesions:

Will my Vickers Combat Applications Sling be compatible?  I don't see the horizontal slot in the magpul website pics that my factory stock has.

Is this stock heavier than my standard stock, and if so, how much heavier?

What bothers me the most about the RRA factory stock is the play it has, does this magpul stock eliminate this?

Any other comments in favor or against this stock are appreciated.

I don't know the answers to the other questions, however the CTR is tight as hell once you activate the locking latch.

The CTR is a very light stock, maybe a little heavier then a standard m4 stock, but not noticeably.

If you get a QD sling swivel is will work with just about any stock out there.

The CTR has a lock on it that keeps It completely solid once you lock it down.

Since You have a factory RRA, make sure you get the commercial version of the CTR or it won't fit your tube.

Great stock, worth every penny.

Or buy a reciever plate with the slot in it and run your sling through there.
The stock has zero play.  I love this as well.
As far as weight, there is no difference, if there is, it is not noticable at all.

i dont know about you guys, but I get a slight forward movement on mine when I first lock it into position if i pull the stock to the rear.

Happens when I shoulder and apply pressure on the buttstock.  But once it goes forward, it "locks" into place and doesnt move.

Mine too.

I use the slot in the back of the CTR to mount my sling.  I've got a quick detach swivel but I prefer the slot.

the CTR without the rubber buttplate is only 5mm (.19'') longer than the Colt M4 stock

You'll like the CTR.

CTR stocks are outstanding. I have two and they are perfect. I even picked up a MOE stock for my ST-22. Granted it does not have the lock feature nor the quick disconnect sling mount but it is tight on a Mil Spec tube. Heck, anything Magpul is 100%.

Just put a CTR stock on a build i finished.  yes the stock is a little heavier but to me it wasnt enough to worry.  The stock does eliminate the play that the factory RRA has.  As far as the sling setup i dont know.  I think with the stock overall you will be happy.

My CTR stock with Vickers sling and QD sling swivels

If you don't prefer QD sling swivels you could also mount it on the vertical slot at the rear end of the CTR.

My CTR have absolutely no movement on my buffer tube when the friction lock is locked (YMMV), it's slightly heavier than my old M4 stock but it's not noticeable, you won't get disappointed.
