how many of you guys have replaced buffers, added KNS pins of put in chrome silicon springs in your guns. I realize aftermarket buffers can enhance function but what about the others. Is it worth the money.

Almost all of my stuff is factory, though I do have a nice large kit of spare (also factory) parts in multiples.  I like to K.I.S.S., why fix what isn't broke?  YMMV of course.

I also prefer the KISS approach, but I do keep a number of extra parts on hand just in case.  BTW, I haven't needed them yet...and I shoot alot!  IMHO.

I add “H” buffers to my carbines, and all AR's rifle or carbine, get Bravo Company Extractor Kits installed. Other than that, everything else is standard issue.

Most of my rifle is stock aside from some hand guards that I am soon to update.  Personally I have always believed that whatever upgrades you put on your rifle should be for whatever you need it for.  Aside from that your wasting money when you could be buying more spare parts, ammo or whatever.  Sorry but I have more of a combat mentality.  I have seen some pics of very cool looking AR’s but I would never carry half of them into a real fight due to weight and bulk.  Believe me if and when the time comes it matters.  I am also really picky about what parts I do have not clanking or being loose causing noise.

A show piece is nice but I really believe that in the times that may be coming in this country a lot of that money could have been better spent by many people out there.  Just my opinion.

H2 buffer and BCM extractor kit and my favorite...blue threadlock! Also, just picked up a compensator, so I'm very much looking forward to blasting with that.
