just wondering if anyone has purchased anything from this company.  I was looking at a new upper in the 300 wssm.  shilen match grade barrel, float tube, charger handle, magazine, bolt and carrier $849. He says it will fit my r-15 but i thought it would fit the r-25?  website  www.dtechsuperstore.com

I have a 25 WSSM upper on order from him too. Did you mean .300 WSM? I don't know of a .300 WSSM unless it is a wildcat. The WSSM's fit in an AR-15 sized platform, whereas the WSM's fit the AR-10 platform, similar to the R-25.

it says on his web site a wssm.  he is going to be making i think the 300,338, and 358 all in the wssm, but now that i am looking i see the shells would be impossible to buy i guess i was thinking about the 300 saum or the 300 wsm.  i might have to go with the 25 wssm have a buddy that has this round in a bolt rifle says it is a shooter.

I sent him an email asking some questions about his uppers yesterday.  I am wanting to get a 243 WSSM upper from him.  He said that he was about 5 months out on filling orders right now.  Anybody else ordered and got their upper from him?  How do you like it and what was your wait time on the upper?

Are you "The Duck Commander"? He told me this week that I should have my upper in 3-4 weeks. I ordered it in late October. His problem is parts availability. He uses DPMS carriers, and they are running way behind. He has stockpiled barrels, which he says will be the next item that will be scarce. The guy has a sterling reputation, but he only takes phone calls on Mondays and Fridays.

From I gather it is indeed a 300 WSSM wildcat. He has gotten Hornady to make dies for several different wildcats based on the super short mag case. He is also offering uppers for the actual WSSM cartridges.

Not sure. I would guess you will have to make your own ammo unless he is planning to load ammo and offer it for sell. The round should fall somewhere around the 308 Win or maybe a little close to the 30-06.  I think I would just spend my money on a nice AR 10 instead. In fact I would choose the DPMS 260 Rem over this.

IF you truly want the poop on Mike Milli, go over to predatormasters.com and do a search for his name or his shops name.  As said above, the guys rep is STERLING.  I know several guys that have rigs from him they shoot bugholes and never fail to go bang when you pull the trigger.  I've never heard or read a negative thing about his gear, and I've heard/read a bunch.

I would go with the 25 WSSM rather than the .30 caliber.  The problem with the .30 caliber WSSM is that most .30 caliber bullets are too long to fit in the magazine, and the biggest reason to go with the .30 caliber is bullet selection.  If you want a larger caliber than the .25 then the .35 WSSM is the way to go since most .35 caliber bullets are short enough to work with the limited OAL requirement of the AR-15 magazine.

Just my two cents, but I'd bet that Dtech will tell you the same thing.
