My son and I were shooting our ARs a couple of weeks ago. Everything going good. He was shooting from a new ammo box of Georgia Arms stuff. After firing a few vollies, I noticed a spent brass laying on the ground that had the primer missing. After shooting more, Cory had a round that failed to chamber properly. I had him manually eject that round and chamber another round. Well, it wouldn't chamber either. He immediately pulled the bolt out and looked down the breech end of the barrel and saw an obstruction. He rapped the stock on the bench and a small piece of brass fell out. It was a small chunk of brass, not a thin piece of the sidewall of a shell. Then we found another brass with the primer missing! Anybody ever experience this with Georgia Arms reloads? It seems that the ejector marks on the brass was more prominent than on most rounds too. Is it an issue with the ammo or his rifle?
