Just bought a Smith and Wesson in 5.45x39 and love it. I mounted an Eotech 517 on top and mounted a TLR-2 light/ lazer on a bayonet mount under the barrel. I gave up a Yugo ak-47 that I hated to shoot to buy the AR. So far no more mods for now, Happy with the set up. Ordered 4 more 30 round mags and have bought 3,000 rounds of ammo to start. Later will get the 5.56 upper to have the bast of both worlds. I have read alot of comments on here over the last few months. There are some fine folks that give good ideas and a few hot heads that won't listen to reason from what I read.
