[ARCHIVED THREAD] - colt upper

a friend of mine has a colt upper. thing is in great shape. are there any marks to identify that it is a colt?

There should be a "C" along with the forge mark on the right side of the upper receiver

Colt uppers have a variety of forge marks on them and they don't all necessarily contain a "C".
