What are the disadvantages of a lightweight AR ?

I have a 16" RRA midlength. I am looking to put a suppressor on it and worried that it will make it too heavy on the front-end and was wondering if I would do better by changing out the upper or the barrel with a lightweight one.

I have a govt profile that I have a suppressor on. The can isnt actually that heavy but since it hangs on the end of the barrel it certainly feels like it. I think the greatest thing you could do is lighten the barrel and weigh down the back with a heavier stock, it should help balance it out.

What kind of can? If it's one that mounts on a specialty flash hider you can minimize the muzzle weight by getting a thin barrel just long enough that perm'ing the mount on will result in a 16" overall barrel length. I believe a 14.7 will work for an A1 hider (omni style) and a 14.5 will work for the M4-1000/M4-2000/and maybe SPR/M4.

(verify measurements before you buy - I don't have a ruler handy)

I have the omni, I've thought about having the FH perm attached, but I want to SBR the whole thing
