Does Yankee Hill Machine have good customer service?  Has anyone ever had a problem with them?

I have used them multiple times and have never had an issue. Tech department can usually help with any questions or issues!

I have seen some people bashing them but no specifics were ever given.  Do they sell quality products?

They sure do! Some may say its not the what the cool kids are using, gotta have a $400 pair of handguards to be taken seriously but, YHM makes great products. IIRC one of the first companies to offer FF railed handguards.

I had a set of YHM handguards at one time. They were a little wobbly, but it was their
cheapest version with no locking mechanism so I was pleased with the results of it.

I also have a YHM canted rail mount and it is sturdy as hell. They price their stuff right too.

I am not into what the "cool kids" are using.  I want a quality product from a good company that has outstanding customer service.  YHM has good prices and I have had really good customer service the several times I have called with questions.  At this point I am am just waiting for them to have some lowers and the upper I want.  I am hoping it will be worth the wait.  I think it will.

I ordered two uppers and some other goodies in May from them. Prompt shipping, very helpful on the phone. Highly recommended.

I ordered an upper from them when they had them on sale for $109 just a couple of months ago. Nice finish and high quality machining. Still waiting for the lightweight FF forearm to show up from them so that I can finally mate my barrel to it...

I have their lightweight FF rail on one of my Carbines....I have their front sight rail mounted BUIS on all of them...for the rifle where I have a bipod installed, I have a YHM sling adapter.

I bought a set of free float rails from them last year and a gas block/front sight. They installed them at no charge. All I had to do was send the upper and pay return shipping. Good folks.

I saw a couple of you say that you have a YHM upper.  How is the accuracy and reliability?

I like their free-float tubes much better now that they have the locking screws.

The first tube we bought from them since they were the only free-float that had provision for a sling swivel on the tube.  Ironically, that screw-in swivel is the only bad I have to say about them.  The e-clip that retains the swivel portion was mis-formed and would pop off when screwing the base in.  $0.04 at the hardware store cured that.

Their back-up rear sight can be folded with the aperture in either position and it uses a standard AR aperture.  ARMS #40 is bulkier and requires you to change to the long-range aperture to fold it.

I've been quite happy with what I have used.

Ive put a bunch of orders in to YHM recently.  They might be one of the few companies not running a month behind.  I bought a rifle length customizable free float tube for a build and I really like it.  Its for a hunting gun, so I needed some rail space, but not four full length rails.  Pretty neat idea and very well built.  I also have a YHM Phantom flash suppressor on both my ARs.  Much better than an A2 which helps when Im running an NVD.

I talked to them about two weeks ago.  They can't get the material to make most of their products.  They said June or July time frame.  Its a long wait but I can be patient.
