I have a RRA Entry Tac with standard M4 handguards. I want to put a quadrail on it, but I don't want to take off the Barrel nut and the Handguard nut, is there any quality halves that just slip right in? Keep in mind that this is actually for my Mother who decided she wanted to take Magpul Dynamics class with her friends, so the lighter the better.

Thanks,
Callahan

There's all kinds of great hanguards that you can install that are either free floating or non-free floating that do not require removal of the barrel nut/handguard nut.

I'd look at the MI 2 piece non-free floating handguards or the Troy units, both are great and either will run you $130-$150.

Otherwise you could get YHM handguards...but they aren't as nice and they don't have T-marks.

Daniels Defense makes Free floating handguards that don't require removal of your nuts but they run $260+

damn... Props to your mother. I wish I had a mother like that. If you are looking for something lite and easy to install than go with the Daniel Defense Omega rail. I just installed one on my Stag and it literally took ten minutes. I took a Midwest Industries # 17 quad rail off my rifle and replaced it with the Daniel Defense rail because it is free floating. If you want I can sell you my old quad rail sense I wont be using it anymore. Here is a pick of what it looked like on my rifle.

Thanks for the quick replies the Daniel Defense seems like a winner free floated, easy install, and Light. win! she can probably do it herself and she probably will want to.

I love my mommy
