Just got confirmation on my Bravo Company midlength upper order and have two questions...which buffers are the best to run in them and when ordering a calvary arms midlength handguard set do i want the c6 or c8 model ( tapered or non tapered) to fit with the triangular handguard cap

I''m assuming your running a midlength gas tube? I'm personally running an H3 buffer with a 18'' middy. Shoots quite a bit softer/smoother than an 16'' carbine with carbine buffer. As for the hand guard I'd get whatever is the most comfortable, I thought you need the triangle hand guards if using the triangle cap.

Start with an H buffer in mid-length and H2 in carbine. You can find more on AR ejection pattern fine tuning on Armalite's Tech Notes page.

This!  H in middys, H2 in 16" carbines, and H3 in SBRs 10-12"

i also got in on the BCM middy.
ive got an ACE ARFX stock, so a rifle tube and buffer.

i am going to order the buffer and spring this week.

are there different buffers for rifle?  i havent seen any.
also,  i am thinking about about a wolff XP spring.  i hear they are better <last longer, more reliable> and dont make the "sprrooooooiing" sound.

so i guess i am asking what you guys think about mid length gas system with rifle buffer and wolff xp spring.

Rifle buffer and David Tubb CS recoil spring. They are flat-wound ISMI springs that work in rifle or carbine buffer tubes.
