Looking at buying a good trigger, says it can't be used in a Colt with a sear block. How can I identify if I have a sear block. I have a preban sporter sp1.

Thanks for the help

I stole this picture from Quarterbore's website but hopefully he won't mind since I didn't steal his bandwidth.

Well, is there something in the lower reciever that looks like it would be in the way of an auto sear?

I even managed to post this picture in another thread by accident.

A Colt SP1 will not have a sear block.
That started with the blue label guns in the early 90's.

Bill Springfield can do a great trigger job on your issue trigger and the sear block won't matter.  He will get it to 4.5 lbs which is Service Rifle legal.
