What temperature and humidity do you guys keep your safe's at? Or do you even measure the temp and humidity? Also, does anyone know what temp and humidity a safe should be kept at?

My safe lives in the garage, but the garage lives in Arizona so humidity really isn't too much of an issue. I don't "keep" it any temperature/humidty, it just is what it is and varies from 95/15 in the summer to 70/30 in the winter. WalMart sells a nifty little recording digital hygrometer for $8 which sticks magnetically to the inside of the safe.
Obviously in a humid climate, humidity control of some kind would be required, probably some kind of heater like a Golden Rod. |
