Happy new year all !

I'm in the process of trading my upper but the guy wants to keep his bolt.
How bad is it for reliability to run non-matching  bolt on a used upper ?

Thanks

Bolts are replaceable items and a rifle that gets a lot of use should have the bolt swapped out at around 10,000 to 12,000 rounds.  With that a person should check the head space before firing.  Interchanging the bolts, bolt carriers, and weapons may result in incorrect headspace.
