I am trying to find a specific style of flash suppressor but I don't know if it actually exists...hopefully someone here might know of one.  First, it's not for the AR I'm building...but since it's the same threading and .223, I figure if it exists someone here has one on their AR so this is the place to ask.

What I want to do is thread the barrel on my Mini-14 and put a flash suppressor on it that looks like an M-14 suppressor.  Something that is longer than a typical A2 suppressor.  It doesn't have to be a perfect clone of an M-14 suppressor...but I want my Mini-14 to look like a mini M-14.  I hope that doesn't sound too weird.  Anyway, I would like to find something that looks like this:

I've only seen 'pin-on' M-14 style flash hiders.

This.  You could always get someone to machine a custom for you.

Is there a disadvantage if you go with a pinned suppressor rather than a threaded one.  I would prefer a threaded suppressor because I want something more permanent...just in case another AWB rolls around.

You can always come off your wallet and have one made.

I was also thinking about a 3 prong flash suppressor for it, I don't know how one would look on a Mini-14 though.

I've been planning on ordering my AR-15 barreled upper in the next couple weeks (and by order...I mean back order and hope I get one by June).  That would finish my AR.  I could order it with a 3 prong and put the 3 prong on the Mini.  I think I want to put the Vltor flash hider on the AR.

I have also considered a Phantom 5C1 for the Mini.
