| Alright made it through X-mas and didn’t touch the mad money get to start my second AR build. Double star lower with a WOA 20” 1 in 12 varmint upper (wanting to shoot a real light bullet) however I’m looking for some suggestions for triggers. I want a two stage and currently looking at Giessele. I think I like their Marksman with a 2.5lb – 3.5lb 1st and .5-1.5 2nd. Any suggestions??? |

Anybody played with Jewell triggers I have one in my Busmaster, and I love it. I like it better than my WOA tuned RR 2 stage. Actually I'm not that impressed with the WOA tune job. My friends untouched one isn't any worse than mine. If you can afford the Giselle, knock yourself out. I'd like to try someone else's someday to compare, but I can see spending the extra money. |

I installed a RRA two stage in a S&W with no problem, and it is a great trigger out of the box.
I recently got a Jewel large pin for my Colt, and spent over an hour trying to install it. What a pain. The pin retaining spring is just impossible to get between the right side of the receiver and the hammer spring - at least for me. I gave up, took it out and put the factory trigger back in the gun. Will have to see if someone locally can install this for me or will try something else. Unfortunatey, RRA does not make large pin triggers anymore. Anyway, probably any of the good triggers will be good for you if you have worked with them before or have them installed by a professional. |

Yea they are a little pricey but I hate spending money on junk |

Anybody played with Jewell triggers I had one, sold the rifle, nice trigger difficult to set up. Slow "lock time" as well. That may not be a factor for some folks, but anyone doing long range work...or precision shooting will benefit from as fast a lock time as possible. |
