Hi all, I have been lurking around here for a while and just joined. I use go to the range all time with my friends when I was younger but then I moved and eventually got buried in college. I recently got back into shooting after hanging out with a friend with a nice collection of weapons including two AR 15s. Of course I became fascinated with the AR just as the Obama scare got into full swing. So disappointedly I got in a 4 to 8 month waiting list for a stripped lower two weeks ago. Well today I received a Christmas bonus at work and was in the local gun shop picking up some 9mm ammo when I noticed an AR hanging on the wall, a Colt A2 Gov’t Carbine. I also noticed it was priced a lot lower then I have been seeing online. Needless to say I couldn’t pass it up and my Christmas bonus lasted me a whole 8 hours. I can’t wait to hit the range. http://i541.photobucket.com/albums/gg400/danpoland84/IMG_2689.jpg http://i541.photobucket.com/albums/gg400/danpoland84/IMG_2693.jpg |

After you build a few more, you will always enjoy the K.I.S.S. LW. +1 After you finish hanging everything but the kitchen sink off your new rail system, it's nice to be able to go back to a LW carbine. ![]() Come on now ! My "Tactical Kitchen Sink front mount rail setup" is great! I mean...who wouldn't want to be without some sort of modern plumbing while in a fire fight |
