Hi All,
I took my new carbine to the range today and fired off about 60 rounds. About 10 of them had a split in the neck running almost to the shoulder. Some are reloaded LC brass and some are J.M.G surplus I had picked up from CTD.
The barrel is a Wilson marked 5.56mm.
I invite opinions on what could be causing this or if it is pretty normal. I haven't shot a ton of 5.56 but I can't recall seeing so many cracked cases.
Thanks for the help.

Brass has been reloaded too many times.  The neck has become work hardened and is too brittle.  This is why cases are annealed to soften the brass.

Anneal the necks before you reload them.
