[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Model 1 Sales

Anyone got anything from Model 1 lately? What was the lag time on your order? I ordered a CAR kit last week and was wondering how long before I can put together my new shooting iron.

They aren't answering their phone or they sure have a lot of calls. All I get is a busy signal.

Ordered an upper this week. Nice lady told me 10-12 weeks.

A guy at work just received an upper. They told him 6-8 weeks; he got it in 5 weeks.

I ordered an upper 5 weeks ago ,I have called them a couple times .the first time to see if they had my order ,at that time they told me they had it in stock and would ship in 2 weeks .

I called them after 2 weeks and they said 5 weeks to ship.fucking crazy times in the gun buisness,

But I have heard good things about them so we will see.

I've dealt with M1S for ten years now.

They've always had top notch customer service.

As for wait times, I imagine things are pretty crazy right now. You're on your own there.

I ordered a M4 kit about 4 weeks ago emailed them after about two weeks because I had not heard anything about my order and was told it would be about 10 to 12 weeks.

+1 on Model 1. They are probably giving you worst case lead time. I would expect it sooner than later.

Thanks for the info guys. I figured it would be a wait. I've bought from them before and have been very pleased. The wait is no big deal as the reward will sure be worth it.

I ordered a LPK and a charging handle from them a few weeks ago. Tried to call them to add something to my order and could not get through for 4 hours straight....finally got through and they said my order was shipped.

Just a +1 for model 1 sales. I accidentally ordered the wrong part on a kit and someone noticed that my order didn't really make sence and called me to make sure that's what I wanted. Turnes out they saved me from getting the wrong stuff.

hey be persistent on the phone...i called over and over for bout 16 times. finnaly got threw....found out my order is 2 weeks less than what it was

I ordered a 16" CAR kit mid to end of November and nothing yet I placed an order with JT Distributing and had it within a week and that was two weeks ago
