I have a Colt LE6920. Is there any benefit to buying one of these "heavy buffers?" Do these improve the overall operation and accuracy of the rifle?

What benefit do people see in replacing the stock flash hider with an aftermarket one, including the ones that are "compensated?" I understand if you have a short barrel and you have a longer flash hider, but can replacing this actually improve the accuracy of the rifle?

Neither of these will have any effect on accuracy. The heavier buffer may help if you are have cycling issues, and the comps may reduce muzzle rise to aid in follow up shots, but neither will help reduce absolute group size.
