Greetings.

I am a pretty tall guy with long arms.  I also just got my new Rock River mid-length and it is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.  When I ordered it, I upgraded to a magpul stock.  I just brought it home tonight and was getting acquainted with it and am thinking a different stock with a longer length of pull would feel more comfortable.  Can anyone suggest a collapsible stock that would give me the greatest length of pull?

Also, I never thought I could find anything better smelling than a brand new car.  I did tonight.  My new AR sure smells nice

Thanks all,

Chuck B.

I wonder if you could add a spacer (delrin or something) and longer bolts between the pad and the stock?

SOPMOD and EMOD are a little longer as well I believe.

Ace M4 SOCOM (L) - This "L" version uses a rifle length receiver tube.  You can get a 13.5" length of pull.  It ain't cheap, though.

If you use a 1" butt pad on the "L" version, the LOP is 14.5". I have one, it works fine. I have long arms, so I usually try for a 14.75" LOP as that is most comfortable - and keeps scopes out of my eyebrows.

With a 1" butt pad, the shorter M4 SOCOM reaches a 14" LOP. I have one of these too.

SEE "SHORTER" VERSION HERE

While the LOP on the LMT SOPMOD is less, I have couple of them. They are my favorite stock due to the cheek weld.

And the cheekweld is great.

Cheeckweld and after market stocks is not what he needs... he needs to shoot correctly.

Shoot NTCH, dont chicken wing.

If thats not enough and you shoot a more CQB stance roll your shoulder forward and bring the rifle inboard a couple inches.

I have long arms, am 6'2" tall and use the next to closed position.  If a standard collapsable stock is too short and you are either over 6'5" or you are not using a good shooting technique.

There is a 99% chance the only problem is new shooter not knowing how to hold the rifle and shoot correctly.
