I thought that most .223/5.56 magazines were pretty much universal, however, I have 4 magazines, 1 from Defense Solutions, 1 by Colt, and 2 without markings (generic?)
Both the Colt and DS worked ok but the 2 “no names” fit so tight in the mag-well that I had to struggle to get one of them back out. My AR is a DS Arms, which uses LMT manufactured lowers, so I don’t believe it was a problem with the lower. Is it common to find that some magazines wont fit properly? and are there certain manufactures whose magazines are more often compatible with most AR 15 lowers? Thanks… |
