[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Handguard play

Is there any way to tighten up the twisting play in the front handguard on a 6920? There's some play side to side, and a little between the upper and lower but from what I understand that's normal. I'm still new to the whole AR platform, hoping to get to go out and plink around some this weekend. Thanks a lot for any help/suggestions.

Not really. A bit of movement is normal with the standard handguards.

No. Replace the guards with a rail if it bothers you that bad. It is factory spec, that is why it is the way it is out of the box. It is designed to protect your hands and the barrel, nothing else.
