I'm just wondering how easy/hard it is to change out the charging handle lever. Is it just that one pin I need to punch out and then put the spring back in the right place?

Helps to not knock the pin all the way out. Tap it out so that the lever comes out, replace with new part flip over, and tap pin flush.

Got it done. I tried to keep the pin in but I knocked it all the way out. It was pretty easy though.

are there any charging handle levers that extend to the right of the weapon instead of the left?

They catch on everything!
