Im slowly gathering parts for another build.  After falling in love with a CAA cheek piece on another rifle, I want a Vltor modstock club foot.

After looking at my options, I cant decide between the carbine, and rifle versions.  I do like the fact that the rifle version is longer.  While shooting with the CAA piece, I find that I always seem to slide my cheek further up the stock. And it appears the rifle version may accommodate this.  Although I looks like its not adjustable.

Any pics or advice is appreciated.

How big of a guy are you?  The collapsable version should fit your cheek pretty well, there is alot of adjustment there.  Here's a pic of me, which gives a decent view of how the stock fits my cheek.  Oh, BTW, this stock is for sale on the EE right now, going with an E-MOD.
