I found a stripped flat top upper receiver for 85 bucks brand new and I was wondering does not have the forward assist and all the other stuff matter if I just take out the parts from my other receiver and put them into the flat top one?

Nope, matters not. But most ppl find it easier and sometimes cheaper just to buy new components for their uppers. that is what Id do.

My carry handle does not come off so I have to buy a flat top upper.
