[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Buffer spring

I have 2 Smith and Wesson mp-15's.

Stocking up on parts.

Do I need the "RIFLE" length buffer spring or the "CARBINE" length?

If your stocks are collapsible you need the carbine action spring.

There are S&W models that come with A2 stocks, those take rifle action springs.
