Well, I got a small problem. I've got a new carbine and it needs an adjustment. Upon disassembly I noticed that the buffer tube needs to be screwed in one more turn to properly capture the retainer pin. What wrench is required to loosen the castle nut and screw that puppy in one more turn? Is there an expedient that won't ruin the castle nut?

most any gunshop will carry the proper spanner wrench to pull the castle nut, there are probably a dozen or two different manufacturers that make them. They should look like this:

some will have the other size wrenches and such to pull any ar component too. expect to pay $15-30 for one...
