I have a question for you, how know much more about the 6.8 SPC than I.

I have seen little or no interest in Armalites 6.8 SPC carbine on this fourm

I have had a Armalite 5.56 mm for 10 years and as of this date zero problems.

My 5.56 is a hard use rifle and it shows it, the 6.8 SPC would fill the need that I

have for a different caliber rifle. Is there something wrong with Armalites 6.8

that I don't know about any and all informatin is appreciated.

You need to read the 6.8spc Faq in the AR Variants sections.  You'll want at least the SAAMI II Chamber and 1-11 or 1-12 four groove twist to push the cartridge to its limits.6.8 Faq

Are you dead set on 6.8? What about a 7.62x39 upper? Ammo is cheaper.

Ammo is cheaper,  But the 6.8 beats it hands down in external and terminal ballistics.
