What ammunition and caliber did you use?

What's the story of the hunt?

Pics of animal with gun are best but do not need to be in the same picture.

It's earn a buck in my hunting area of Wisconsin this year.
(Earn a buck is that I need to shoot an antlerless deer before I can shoot a buck/antlered deer).  This past weekend was a special antlerless deer hunt only so I took my Colt M16A1 upper with Nodak spud lower.

I was looking down a path that came straight down a hill when this one came out of some thick brush only about 15 feet from me.  I did a quick double tap while point shooting and dropped it with a hit in the neck.  I use Black Hills blue box .223 Rem. 55Gr Soft Point.

The best part of it is that the next time some lib tard tells me that I don’t use that thing hunting.  I can show them the picture and tell them I LOVE TO HUNT WITH MY AR!

Looks like he shot it in the head.  I watched it over and over and looks like it might have hit near the left eye.  where did he shoot it?

Awesome kill by the way.

Heres my latest deer from 06'  Just lit up a smoke ( always happens when i light one up, actually think it attracts the deer) Was a shoulder shot into the heavy bone area which is why the cavity is about the size of a quarter. My guess that the bullet hit bone then exploded back out, at least some of it. She dropped where she was shot.

This is about my eighth deer with a 5.56 they all dropped where they stood, one limped about 15 feet then dropped.

Shot this girl on Sunday morning out at a friends place. We think she was resposible for the disperance of two of his barn cats. He called me when he spotted it at the wood line behind his house watching his beagle pup whine. The gun used was a LMT Defender with two stage trigger and a TA31A ACOG. Ammo used was Black Hills 60gr Vmax. Shot was taken at approx 120 yards and resulted in a lung shot and a near instant kill.

It may have been 200 or 225 yards.

It surely wasn't a doe that refused to get off the road when we were  20-25 yards away

I had put out some corn the night before infront of a game camera, after the morning hunt we were driving to the back of the ranch to clean a doe we had shot. We pulled up to find a young 8 point licking my camera for some reason and a doe eating all the corn. She wouldn't get off the road and we decided if we were going to get dirty anyway...

Thanks for the link but I want one that is AR15 hunting only.  I see lots of other guns and even a few compound bows.
