| i understand as normally i am the same way, but with the way the current outlook is obama will be the next prez which would make are rifles especially the le6920 off limits and thus a good investment. optics and such will still be available at later dates. so again what should i do. buy the 2nd rifle just in case, or say screw it and just upgrade what i have? |
What kind of shooting do you do with your AR right now? |
| u name it and it has done it. it shows some wear/usehas. from the occasional varmint hunt, to home defense, to training classes..... and a few others. no safe queen here. lol |

Why buy a 6920 & be concerned with resale value? I understand that financial emergencies happen but I don't buy rifles to sell. Sounds like you already know the answer to your question but two 6920's is better than one. Back up guns in the same config as the other one as you intend to shoot them is always a great idea. If you want the rifle then buy it now because at present things are not looking great for another Republifriend POTUS with how John McCain is running his campaign. Get the cost of the 6920 out of the way now & a little while of saving some fun money will allow you to buy optics & other less costly accessories later. You can keep the guns stock for a lil while & still have two functioning weapons without splurging on a bunch of tactical accessories to keep up with the hive right now. Enjoy. Why would the value go up? How much are you planning on spending? I would buy a kit and build a new AR instead of a LE6920. |
| I wouldn't do it personally. I think the main reason people want those rifles because they say for law enforcement only. If i was you i would try to build my own rifle and use the money you save from not buying the second LE6920 and use it for cool tactical gear. Then you would have one stock LE6920 and one custom tactical rifle. Just my .02 |
