Hi,

If you have a Colt or an LMT, which I think by definition you have a quality barrel on that rifle.
If you fire , just an example 200 rouds in 10-15 minutes, so the barrel is very hot, what happens lets say accuracy wise. And what the military do in a war zone when there is no option to let the barrel cool down.

And on average how much time you let the barrel cool.

When the barrel heats up it will change the point of impact very slightly, not nearly enough to have to let it cool in a combat operation.
