had the opportunity to pay off an ar and chose a noveske afghan. the problem is , i live in ny(ban state) . i'm looking to make this rifle a shtf gun that i can also practice making some nice groups with. for an optic i was planning on a nightforce 2.5-10. my other ar's have fixed entry stocks but they arent good for precision . i need something in between entry and a2. any suggestions?

A1 or Sully.

Fixed entry stock with a 1" spacer or an A1 stock. I vote for the A1 since you already have an entry stock but you may just prefer to buy a spacer for an entry stock you have....<><....:)

anyone ever try the vltor a1 length fixed stock? seems like a good solution and adds the option of mounting a sling any way you want. are they comfortable?

I have one. Comfy. Ugly. Built to last. Everything I want from a Vltor product.

The top one, A1 length.

It would probably balance OK. What have you added to the rails?
