Do you mean, chrome moly, chrome lined or stainless steel?

That's it stainless or chrome lined.
Sorry. kinda new to the whole parts
swapping game.
Looking to swap the barrel on a bushy
from a m4gery to a 16" midlength gas.
Barrel on EE is stainless 16" midlength.
Just wondering if it would be a step up?

Who cares what he means?  If you know, describe them all and tell which is best.

The stainless steel is most likely not parkerized, so it's chrome-looking, not flat black.

The stainless barrel SHOULD be more accurate and easier to clean than a chrome-lined barrel.  It should also last longer than chrome moly barrels.

Chrome-lined MAY be less accurate then a chrome-moly or Stainless Steel barrel, but unless you are shooting long distance and with barrels in length excess of 16", I seriously doubt you can notice.  Good Chrome-Lined barrels can definitely go sub-MOA.

In the end it's a choice thing.  I don't want shiny on my everyday rifle, but on a varmint gun I'd probably go stainless.
