I cannot say anything from your description or picture.  The picture is out of focus and what specifically are you talking about?  Is WHAT normal?

If I am looking at what I think you are talking about it is normal. The BCG has just rubbed the finish off, normal wear.

Perfectly normal.  You'll also notice a spot right below the one on the right in the charging handle channel.

Some of my AR's made those marks.  Some didn't.  I would agree with everyone else, normal wear.

That doesn't seem right to me. You better send me the rifle so I can inspect it a little more.

CAUTION!  Metal bullets scraping along the inside of the your barrel at high speed will cause friction, heat build up and erosion that will eventually destroy your barrel!

Normal wear.  NOT a problem.

link to photo deleted at owner's request EdSr

If your worried of some function problem/extra wear due to friction just do this:
Remove your bolt, firing pin, cam and charging handle from upper.  take your carrier and place it in your upper and it should move freely and line up with your gas tube.  If its sticking then somethings out of line or some type of obstruction.
