-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hey everyone, been on the site for a while but this is my first post. im getting ready to build my first rifle, and currently in my waiting period for my stag lower. i plan on getting the stag 2h rifle kit to finish it off. how well does this setup work? and one question i have is i live in a rural area with coyotes around quite often, and my ar could wind up being my anti coyote rifle. (mini 14 just not cutting it) for this reason id like to mount a flashlight, but keep the stock handguards. what are the best options? someone recommended the yankee hill machine gas block with a detachable sight, how would this work? and what are some good lights and mounts? thanks for any input! |
| his ). I have a SABRE stripped lower, LPK, and my buttstock and parts are on their way so I'll be able to assemble a complete lower. I'm planning on using the set up you were told about: stock OD green handguard and a YHM gas block, the rails on the gas block can be used for mounting , in your case the flashlight and detachable front sight. (I'm just going go with an aimpoint and forgetting about anything else) For the lights I'll defer to those who have experience with them. Good luck with your build. |
