So let me see if I got this straight.

You originally had a CH mounted which was zeroed. You removed the CH and replaced it with a Troy BUIS, and your expecting your zero to remain the same?

Just means you need to zero with the Troy. Every weapon is different, every peice of equipment you put on a weapon is different, and every shooter is different. You cant expect to just slap something on and have it be zero'd.

Also adjust windage on the rear site and elevation with the front sight.

Lower the front post 2 or 3 clicks to raise the POI with the troy..just mark down how many clicks so you can set back when using the carry handle.Thats why I like a BUIS thats elevation adjustable like my Matech and my cut down carry handle I can adjust the rear sight itself and leave the front post alone so I can switch back and forth with no problems.

No, when he had the CH on he twisted his barrel upward to match the CH and now his Troy isn't lining up.....  Sighting the sight in? Crazy stuff

Raise your barrel about 5 inches higher than the point of aim at a 100 yards and you should be fine.

i'd try lowering the target 5 inches and adjust for wind

Well, I was hoping to get a little more of an explanation out of the OP, as far as what he was attempting to do, but Belmont31R kinda jumped in there and headed where I was about to go.
