Hey guys, new to the board here -- new to ARs and rifles in general too, heh. Just got out of BCT with the Army a couple weeks ago and I decided to buy myself a rifle to keep up and improve on my shooting. Went to the local gun store and decided to build one instead, and below was the outcome: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v51/Ninj4/Bubbles9708.jpg Unfortunately the Aimpoints not mine though hinking.gif Needless to say, I'm pretty happy with my purchase HogueCAA vert. grip A couple PMAGs I haven't been able to go out an zero it yet though, hah. Was supposed to go out today, but I woke up and it was pouring outside -- guess it'll have to wait till tomorrow.. I decided to go with a non-match trigger so that I wouldn't get into the habit of using them when the rifles I'll be using down range won't have them...good idea? Any preliminary/quick advice you guys could give to a rookie? Anything would be appreciated. I've been tossing around the idea of taking classes of some sort.. Any ideas? -Kim |
Sweet, I have similar tastes...and thanks for serving |
You might want to visit the Optics Forum before you get carried away with that Eotech purchase. Not saying which is better, just saying a totally informed decision is always good... |
