I scratched the shit out of my delta ring putting on my M4 sas ras. My armalite delta ring is extreamly tuff to pull back.

I put some small sratches on my LMT delta ring. Now I need a vertical grip and weapon light.

Aside from getting a delta ring tool, the best way to do it without scratching is to use a pair of pliars with over-molded soft-grip handles.

Wrap the handles around the delta ring to get leverage and push down with the buttstock on the deck.

This might require a second person to put the handguards in place, but you can do it solo without too much effort.

when i first put mine on, i needed help from people here on arfcom but it finally went on there. I should of just got the dude at the store to put it on, like i did the rifle before hand, oh well, better to do it yourself i presume lol.
