Getting a Timney, I do range shooting and home defence, what would be best 4lb or 3lb trigger ? Going into a LMT 16" m4 type carbine.

I'm using mine pretty much the same as you. I just ordered a Timney 4 pounder. I went heavier for winter days I may be wearing gloves...

Got the Timney 3 lb. and really like it. But, I like all my trigger pulls to the light side.
