Hi guys,

Putting together a lightweight build, starting with a cavarms mkII lower.  For the upper receiver, which is lightest?

-A1
-Forged Flattop
-Billet Flattop

If I go with a flattop, I will be using Larue's A1 style "BUIS"

Thanks!

No-one with a scale ever measured any of these before?

Since you must have a flat top look at the Les Baer no forward assist version.  Deleting the forward assist is the most weight loss you can get with an aluminum upper.  Of course an A1 is lighter than any flat top plus BUIS if configured the same otherwise.
