Hey guys. I need some help in mounting my sight/optics before I go out and buy things I don't need.

My rear BUIS is the Matech 600m.

I have the aimpoint 3x and the eotech.

When I put the aimpoint on with the aimpoint twist mount, it hits the matech and doesn't sit above the matech, so for the time being I have to remove the matech.

My question is what do I need to do to get the aimpoint above the matech, but still work with the eotech? I saw the Larue mount, but small or tall? Or is there a cheaper alternative?

Thanks.

Wow,  Have you posted in the FL HTF?  If you are near JAX, I am sure M4Tuna can hook you up.

good luck

Well, there are lots of solutions. The magnifier and the eotech need to be on the same plane so you're going to have to raise both. Just get risers. I don't know what's available for the aimpoint but you can get a decent riser for the eo pretty cheap.

That wont help his issue at all. Dont get a riser. Well, get a riser if you want, but understand you will still have the issue of your magnifier hitting your MaTech. Best and most affordable solution is a lower profile back up sight. There are many to shoose from. The MaTech is one of the bulkiest/highest of the rear sights. Off the top of my head, you might consider:

Troy, ARMS #40L, KAC, GG&G MAD, PRI. All of these sights will sit lower and work fine with your current set up.

Thanks for the help guys. I actually just wiped everything out and went with the Eotech 516, Eotech 4x magnifier, and also the KAC 300m sight. So everything is good and well. Thanks.
