Hi guys,

I answered a thread a week ago about the difference between a chrome-moly barrel and a chrome-moly that was chrome lined but I can't figure out what the difference is between a straight chrome-moly barrel and a stainless steel barrel.

I am looking at 2 Sabre Defense uppers, both with fluted 18" barrels, one in stainless steel and one in chrome-moly.  The CM is $30 more expensive then the SS, which I thought was kinda backwards.  Does anyone have some insight?

Thanks,

The SS is more accurate and the chrome lined molly is a tad less accurate at long range ....but more durable with longer barrel life.. Its just my opinion...but I think SS barrels are more suited for varmint rifles.
