Deos anyone know the exact specs, more to the point which one weighs less?

Between the Noveske N4 14.5in Low Profile upper with Larue FF Rail or

Noveske N4 14.5in with the Vltor VIS set up??

You would have to find out what a standard stripped upper weighs. You are not comparing apples to apples otherwise. The Larue FF weighs less than the VLTOR VIS because the VIS includes the upper receiver. I have the lo-pro with SWS from the factory and it is a great rifle. You may be talking about a couple of ounces either way. I would still expect the VLTOR to be heavier by virtue of it being a MRP but that is just a guess. Good luck

18.6 oz for the A3/A4 upper and Laure carbine handguard according to the Maryland AR15 shooters site table of weights.

21.5 oz for the VIS according to VLTOR

ETA- for comparison the LMT MRP carbine length is 25.5oz
