Never had a regular mil-spec barrel nut so I have to ask you guys before I order one.  Can anyone tell me the inside diameter of the front a mil-spec barrel nut?  I'm planning to use it with the DPMS bull barrel,  wondering if the nut would accommodate the larger, bull barrel profile.  I'm making a special hand guard.  Thanks, Tam.

The standard barrel nut will work fine with the DPMS barrel.
