I want to start with simple parts, model numbers, and what is the better named parts to go with, Please keep in mind , I am brand new at this , while I do my own reloading and I do own Numerous firearms , this will be a first for me.

You need to hit up the Retro Forum - it's the next one down.  Everything you could want to know about building an A1 clone is there.

Retro Forum is the right place to go. With the help you get there, you will have more than enough resources to build your A1.

USGi M16A1 upper, M16 BCG, USGI A1 buttstock, USGI A1 PG, DPMS receiver and LPK, and used USGI OD nylon sling. A NoDak Spud lower receiver would be in order. I anticipate changing mine eventually.
