allright so this is where I sit so far while I wait on my 14.5" LW barrel from cmmg using a RRA 9mm upper receiver with the gas hole drilled by ADCO on a CavArms lower with M4 Hand Guards  next up is my carrier, I already have a half circle colt sitting around in my parts bin so I am thinking of starting off with that but I was curious if anyone is using one of these young carriers, I have used young carriers with good luck before but these are described as for use with regulated gas systems  so I guess I was wondering if anyone reliably runs one of these with a carbine gas system. also FYI this is meant as a range toy, reliability is still pretty important but I am trying to go as light as I can reasonably get while keeping the features I want, this will not be a SHTF rifle more of a little experiment to get as light as possible with this yellow abomination -Mike |
